Cansu Babekoğlu graduated in 2023 from the Department of Spanish Language and Literature at Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History and Geography. That same year, the individual enrolled in the department's Master's program, which they are currently pursuing. Between 2023 and 2024, they served as a Spanish Lecturer for a period of seven months at TÖMER, an institution affiliated with Ankara University. Since May 2024 to date, the individual has been actively working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Spanish Language and Literature at Ankara Social Sciences University (ASBÜ).

Cansu Babekoğlu se graduó en 2023 en el Departamento de Lengua y Literatura Española de la Facultad de Lengua, Historia y Geografía de la Universidad de Ankara. Ese mismo año, se inscribió en el programa de maestría del mismo departamento y actualmente cursa dicho programa. Entre los años 2023 y 2024, ejerció como Lectora de Español durante un período de siete meses en TÖMER, una institución adscrita a la Universidad de Ankara. Desde mayo de 2024 hasta la fecha, se desempeña activamente en calidad de Asistente de Investigación en el Departamento de Lengua y Literatura Española de la Universidad de Ciencias Sociales de Ankara (ASBÜ).

Hale Erdoğan Hacıbanoğlu completed her undergraduate degree in 2007 at the Department of Spanish Language and Literature of Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History and Geography. Subsequently, she pursued her Master's and Doctoral studies in the same department. Additionally, she completed a non-thesis Master's program in Educational Sciences at Sakarya University and has participated in various seminars and courses on topics such as assessment, training of trainers, and the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. She worked as a lecturer at TÖMER, Ankara University, between 2007 and 2011, at TOBB University of Economics and Technology between 2011 and 2014, and at Ankara University between 2014 and 2025. In 2017, she served as a Visiting Lecturer at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Colombia. Hale Erdoğan Hacıbanoğlu has conducted various academic studies related to Spanish and Latin American literatures, the Spanish language, and the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Since April 2025, she has been working as an Assistant Professor at Ankara Social Sciences University.

Hale Erdoğan Hacıbanoğlu completó su licenciatura en 2007 en el Departamento de Lengua y Literatura Española de la Facultad de Lengua, Historia y Geografía de la Universidad de Ankara. Posteriormente, cursó sus estudios de maestría y doctorado en el mismo departamento. Adicionalmente, finalizó un programa de maestría sin tesis en el campo de Ciencias de la Educación en la Universidad de Sakarya y ha participado en diversos seminarios y cursos sobre temas como evaluación, formación de formadores y la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera. Ejerció como docente en TÖMER de la Universidad de Ankara entre 2007 y 2011, en la Universidad TOBB de Economía y Tecnología entre 2011 y 2014, y en la Universidad de Ankara entre 2014 y 2025. En 2017, fue Profesora Visitante en la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Hale Erdoğan Hacıbanoğlu ha realizado diversos trabajos académicos relacionados con las literaturas española y latinoamericana, la lengua española y la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera. Desde abril de 2025, se desempeña como Profesora Asistente Doctora en la Universidad de Ciencias Sociales de Ankara.

Burcu Tekin holds a PhD in Spanish Language and Literature and currently conducts research on Latin American literature. Her work focuses on Latin American short fiction and literary analysis. She has also carried out studies on teaching Spanish as a foreign language, participating in numerous academic conferences and publishing articles on Spanish language teaching and Latin American literature.

Burcu Tekin es doctora en Lengua y Literatura Españolas y actualmente investiga sobre la literatura latinoamericana. Su trabajo se centra en el cuento latinoamericano y en el análisis literario. Además, ha desarrollado estudios sobre la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera, participando en numerosos congresos académicos y publicando artículos sobre la enseñanza del español y la literatura latinoamericana.

İlhami SIĞIRCI (Prof. Dr.) received his BA (1991) with honors from Cumhuriyet University, and his MA (1996) and PhD (1999) from Toulouse-Jean Jaurès University with a YÖK scholarship. He became an Associate Professor in 2006 and a Professor in 2011.

He has taught at numerous national and international universities, including the University of Almería, the University of Blida, the University of Rouen-Normandy, the University of Silesia, the University of Galati, and the University of Liege. His research focuses primarily on the philosophy of translation, history of translation, linguistics, and semiotics, and he serves as a reviewer for various international journals. To date, he has chaired four international congresses and has conducted joint projects with TÜBİTAK and the Ministry of European Union Affairs.

He is the author of numerous books, including Philosophy of Translation, World Translation History on the Road to the Great Awakening, Semiotic Applications, French Text Translation from Theory to Practice, French Pronunciation Methods from Letters to Sounds, Phonetics, Sentence Structures in French: Translation Methods, and A Guide to French Preposition and Conjunction Usage. In addition to these books, he has published numerous articles nationally and internationally and presented numerous papers at national and international congresses in the fields of translation, linguistics, semiotics, and phonetics. He received the Discourse and Philology Award in 2022.

İlhami SIĞIRCI (Prof. Dr.) obtuvo su título de Licenciatura (1991) con Matrícula de Honor en la Universidad de Cumhuriyet, y sus grados de Maestría (1996) y Doctorado (1999) en Lingüística en la Universidad de Toulouse-Jean Jaurès, becado por YÖK. Ascendió a Profesor Asociado en 2006 y a Profesor Titular en 2011.

Ha impartido clases en numerosas universidades tanto nacionales como internacionales, incluyendo la Universidad de Almería, Universidad de Blida, Universidad de Ruan Normandía, Universidad de Silesia, Universidad de Galati y la Universidad de Lieja. Sus estudios se centran particularmente en los campos de la filosofía de la traducción, la historia de la traducción, la lingüística y la semiótica, y ejerce como revisor para varias revistas internacionales. Hasta la fecha, ha presidido cuatro congresos internacionales y ha dirigido proyectos conjuntos con TÜBİTAK y el Ministerio de Asuntos Europeos.

Es autor de numerosos libros, entre los que destacan: Filosofía de la Traducción, Historia Mundial de la Traducción en el Camino del Gran Despertar, Aplicaciones de la Semiótica, Traducción de Textos Franceses: De la Teoría a la Práctica, Métodos de Pronunciación Francesa: De Letras a Sonidos, Fonética, Estructuras de la Frase en Francés: Métodos de Traducción, y Guía de Uso de Preposiciones y Conjunciones Francesas. Además de estos libros, cuenta con numerosos artículos publicados a nivel nacional e internacional y ponencias presentadas en congresos en las áreas de traducción, lingüística, semiótica y fonética. Recibió el Premio de Discurso y Filología en 2022.
